In order to help homeowners shop for furnaces and air conditioners, we developed our own proprietary algorithms which weigh a range of criteria and factors to provide an easy-to-compare grade (e.g. B-, A+, etc).
Warranty Grade: It can be difficult to know which brands and models offer the best warranty coverage, particularly because a lot of the key details are hidden in dense warranty documents filled with hard to understand legalese. Thankfully for you, we’ve carefully studied them and created this grading system to account for things like the length AND quality of their guarantee, coverage restrictions and more!
Overall Grade: This grade weighs key factors like efficiency, ENERGY STAR certification, comfort, noise level (for A/Cs), our warranty grade, and more.

Warranty Information
Three key parts combine to produce KeepRite’s impressive warranty on the G9MVE. First, there’s a lifetime limited warranty on the heat exchanger and a 10-year parts limited warranty. Be sure to register your unit within the first 90 days or these warranty periods are reduced to 5 years. Secondly, there’s KeepRite’s unique 10 Year No Hassle Limited Warranty, which covers the compressor, coil or heat exchanger and if any of these parts fail, a comparable replacement unit will be provided.
Comparable Models by KeepRite
Model comparison by lower price – KeepRite ProComfort Deluxe Series G9MVE versus the KeepRite Performance Series N9MSB
The N9MSB is an excellent choice if you’re looking to save money on the up-front cost compared with the G9MVE. Featuring an AFUE rating of 92.1%, you’re losing out on around 3-4 cents in every dollar of energy the G9MVE would’ve been able to utilize. In the long term, this would make the N9MSB more expensive to run, but when it comes to upfront cost, it makes the N9MSB the lower priced option of the two. Another major difference between the G9MVE and the N9MSB is the lack of technology and features on the N9MSB. The N9MSB is a great option if you’re looking for a simple furnace to heat your home, but if you want the Observer Communicative Wall Control, the more expensive option is better for you.
Model Comparison by features – KeepRite ProComfort Deluxe Series G9MVE versus KeepRite ProComfort Series G9MXE
The G9MVE and the G9MXE are very similar in turns of efficiency with AFUE ratings of 95-96% and 96.2% respectively. However, where they differ is the features included. The G9MVE features the intuitive Observer Communicating Wall Control, which utilizes advanced touchscreen technology and WI-FI capability to allow you to control many different aspects of your furnace’s operation whether you’re home or afar! The G9MXE, on the other hand, features a basic thermostat with heat/cool and humidity sensing capability. If you’re looking for top of the line features, go with the G9MVE, but if this doesn’t bother you, then the G9MXE may be the better option.
Model comparison by Premium Tier – KeepRite ProComfort Deluxe Series G9MVE versus KeepRite Pro Comfort Deluxe Series G9MAE
Both part of KeepRite’s Deluxe Series range, the big difference between the G9MVE and the G9MAE is the latter’s variable-speed blower motor that’s paired with a modulating gas valve. This means that the G9MAE can adjust itself by monitoring the thermostat and is able to adjust its heating power at small increments ranging from around 35% to 100% of its total capacity. This leads to more even heating of your home, and also allows the G9MAE to boast an even higher AFUE rating that the G9MVE - 97-98% as opposed to 95-96%!
