What information do we collect?

This information may be stored on our servers or third-party services, and may be used to provide services to you, allow you to access tools or information, or may be shared with our partner companies and contractors for the purpose of providing you with quotes, information, or other services.
Regarding any user data transmitted to us, we make reasonable efforts to protect this data using commercially available tools and services, but cannot be responsible for data handling outside our control, including by our partner contractors and other third parties. Data is only shared with other parties in order to facilitate or deliver services, such as providing quote requests via our local partner contractors.
We may also collect aggregate non-personally identifiable information for website analytics purposes.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in ways including, but not limited to:
- Processing or facilitating appointment or quote requests, which may include sharing the information you provide with our partner companies (e.g. local HVAC contractors in your area)
- Providing other services or information to you, allowing you to use apps and tools on our site, or to create a free account and profile with our website
- Promoting related services and offers from us or from our partners
- Some of this information (e.g. your first name and city) may be displayed publicly in specific cases like if you submit a product or service review
- Aggregate user behaviour may be used for analysing behaviour patterns of website visitors to improve the overall user experience. For example, we may test changes to the website’s layout, navigation, and content in order to make it easier for users to find what they are looking for.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. For residents of the United States of America that request quotes, FurnacePrices.ca has partnered with a company called Networx to provide quotes from US-based contractors. This process is subject to US laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Informed Consent to Be Contacted by Telephone
When submitting a quote through FurnacePrices.ca for a US-based address or location, your information will be shared with Networx and their afiiliates and partners for the purpose of providing service quotes. You agree to receive recurring, non-emergency, automated promotional and/or marketing text messages, phone calls using a prerecorded message or artificial voice, and calls/messages delivered using an auto telephone dialing system or automatic texting system from Networx, its affiliates, and/or designated Service Professionals and Fulfillment Partners at any number(s) you provide to Networx. Consenting to these communications is not a condition to any purchase or service. Reply STOP to cancel. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.
Notwithstanding that your telephone number may be listed on the Federal Trade Commission’s Do-Not-Call List and/or on applicable state do-not-call lists and notwithstanding any current or prior election to opt-in/opt-out of receiving telemarketing, other calls, or text messages, by providing your contact information, you expressly consent to and authorize contact by Networx, their agents, representatives, affiliates, designated Service Professionals and Fulfillment Partners, and anyone calling on Networx’ behalf for any purposes relating to the Services and/or Networx Offerings, which may include advertising or telemarketing messages. You certify, warrant, and represent that the telephone number(s) you have provided to Networx or will provide in the future are your contact numbers and that you will promptly alert Networx when a particular telephone number is no longer associated with you.
