Heavy-duty stainless-steel tubular heat exchanger - Heat exchangers tend to be the most costly part to repair or replace on a furnace, so you want to make sure it’s high-quality. Daikin makes a point of using stainless steel for their heat exchangers because this metal is more durable and less likely to corrode.
AFUE 92% - The Daikin DM92SS has an AFUE of 92%, which is the minimum a high-efficiency furnace can have to be sold in Canada. For every dollar, you put into heating your home, with the DM92SS you will have 92 cents going directly towards that goal.
