In order to help homeowners shop for furnaces and air conditioners, we developed our own proprietary algorithms which weigh a range of criteria and factors to provide an easy-to-compare grade (e.g. B-, A+, etc).
Warranty Grade: It can be difficult to know which brands and models offer the best warranty coverage, particularly because a lot of the key details are hidden in dense warranty documents filled with hard to understand legalese. Thankfully for you, we’ve carefully studied them and created this grading system to account for things like the length AND quality of their guarantee, coverage restrictions and more!
Overall Grade: This grade weighs key factors like efficiency, ENERGY STAR certification, comfort, noise level (for A/Cs), our warranty grade, and more.

Napoleon’s 9200 series is part of the brand’s dynamic, accessible and feature-heavy efficiency models. The 9200 has one of the smallest frames on the market and offers two sub models, the Enersave and Enersave Pro, to ensure that they can be paired with your home’s needs and design perfectly.

Whisper Quiet Operation
Many Napoleon high-efficiency furnaces come with the brand’s trademarked Whisper Quiet technology. Their claim is that furnaces with this feature won’t be much louder than a whisper, which is an attractive quality when you’re upgrading from an older furnace or you live in a smaller home.
Flexfit
The 9200 is one of the smallest furnaces on the market and boasts a zero clearance in any installed position without having to modify it’s design. Which means it can be installed standing up or on its side and even fit in a closet.

Model Comparison - 9600 series
The 9600 series carries the same exceptional features at its core, but goes above board in its offerings to clients who are looking for a bit more.Aside from upping the AFUE percentage to a very respectable 96, it comes with Clean Air technology, which gives owners the option of intallalling their air purification system, guaranteeing not only controlled heat, but air that is absent of impurities.
Model Comparison- 9500 Series
A step down from the 9600, but still offering more than the 9200 is the 9500 series. While losing the Clean Air option, it still offers everything that the 9200 does, but also bumps its efficiency to a 95% AFUE. Otherwise, you’re looking at a very similar unit.
Warranty
The 9200 has a 20-year heat exchanger limited warranty, which will guarantee a replacement should it fail over the course of two decades. They also offer a limited 10-year parts warranty should there be complications with the function of certain key components.
