Bryant, at a glance
Strong Points
Bryant offers a lot of furnace options for buyers, whether it’s something higher-end, or something more economical. All of their current models have some level of ENERGY STAR® certification, so you can be confident in an energy-efficient unit that will save on your heating bills.
Bryant’s forced-air furnaces also benefit from many impressive and convenient features, and even their entry-level models have more advanced designs that include things like secondary heat exchangers.
Further, Bryant furnaces are all backed by a great warranty that will help protect your investment.
Room For Improvement
Because Bryant is a relatively affordable mid-range brand, they don’t necessarily have premium units that compete against luxury brands like Carrier and Lennox.
Also, their standard warranty is consistent across models, with no extra options like extended warranties and unit replacement guarantees for their more expensive models.
The Bottom Line
Bryant is a great mid-range brand, especially if you’re looking for a decent deal on a furnace. They make fairly high-quality furnaces that have some excellent features for improved convenience and comfort, and this makes them a standout among both mid-range and economy brands.
Bryant furnaces are reported to be generally reliable units that perform well, and the ENERGY STAR certification means that you’ll have something that runs efficiently.
Further, even though their warranty is standard for furnaces, it will still cover you for many years in case parts or major components fail.

Bryant Average Price Range
$3,500– $6,000 (including installation)
The cost of furnace installation can vary because there are a few things that will impact the final price. Bryant distributors may offer deals that affect the price you pay, and there are often rebates available through the government, HVAC manufacturers, and utility companies that can reduce costs.
Other factors that can impact the price are the model you choose, the type of installation will impact the cost–where your home is and the size of your house, as well as the difficulty of the installation itself.
Finally, furnace tier is another thing to take into account when considering price. Furnace tiers (entry-level, mid-range, and top-tier) will determine price range, but also features, efficiency ratings, and often warranty terms.
The higher the tier, the better the furnace, features, and warranty. Let’s look at how Bryant furnaces are priced based on their tiers:
- Entry-level models: $3,500 – $4,335
- Mid-range models: $4,335 – $5,170
- Top-tier models: $5,170 – $6,000+

Bryant Exclusive Features
Feature 1 – Perfect Heat®️
This technology keeps your home environment comfortable with even temperatures. It helps your furnace respond to fluctuating temperatures by adjusting temperature output accordingly to stabilize the temperature inside your home by monitoring current and past conditions.
Feature 2 – Fan On Plus™
Having this feature gives your system four different speeds of fan operation, so you can adjust the fan speed to your changing needs, and improve air circulation around your home.
All Preferred and Evolution furnaces are equipped with this technology, but you do need to pair the system with a compatible thermostat to control the feature.
Feature 3 – Hybrid Heat®️
Hybrid Heat is the name Bryant gives to their furnaces that are dual fuel compatible, meaning you have the option to combine your gas furnace with an electric heat pump.
By doing so, you can save on fuel and energy by using the most economical option, which will lower your heating bills. All Bryant furnaces have the Hybrid Heat option.
Feature 4 – TrueSense™
You’ll be notified when to change your filter thanks to the TrueSense dirty filter detection system. This keeps your furnace running in top shape, keeps the quality of your air consistent and clean, and can help to reduce service and maintenance requirements.
The filter cabinet itself allows for easy access to change the filter.
Feature 5 – SmartEvap™
Attaining the perfect humidity is easier with this feature. SmartEvap will work with your air conditioning system during the summer months to pull moisture out of the air, which will reduce cooling costs, make your home more comfortable, and reduce the potential for mold.
Feature 6 – QuietTech™
To cut back on operational noise from the furnace, the cabinet is insulated and operational features like the monoport burners run quietly to minimize sound. Other technology also blocks sound from leaving the furnace.
Feature 7 – PerfectLight
PerfectLight is the name for Bryant’s special hot surface igniter. All Bryant furnaces are equipped with PerfectLight, meaning they don’t rely on a pilot light to operate.
Not only does this reduce fuel waste, but it also increases the reliability of the furnace by eliminating maintenance problems related to the pilot system.
Feature 8 – Perfect Humidity
Perfect Humidity is another humidity control technology from Bryant that uses fan speeds to increase heating or cooling while also controlling humidity levels in the home.
To get this feature, however, you must pair your Bryant furnace with a compatible air conditioner or heat pump.
Warranty
Bryant has a standard warranty for most of their models and it is on par with the industry standard. For most models, there is a lifetime limited warranty for the heat exchanger and a 10-year limited for the parts.
The exception is the 912S, which has the same parts warranty, but a shorter 20-year warranty on the heat exchanger. Although Bryant doesn’t offer different warranty terms based on tier, their furnaces are reliable and their warranties cover all the main issues.
When you buy a new Bryant furnace, make sure to register it within 90 days of installation. Otherwise, you'll only be eligible for their standard warranties, which aren't as long as the registered warranty terms aforementioned.
